Maggie Wilson
I’m a writer and arts administrator from California living in Brooklyn. Since 2013, I’ve worked with a range of nonprofits from galleries like The Red Poppy Art House, to The Playwrights Foundation, to becoming the Marketing Director at The Marsh and then Chautauqua Theater Company, to working with Transport Group, Heartbeat Opera, BAM, and more. I currently write grants for the Irish Arts Center in Hell’s Kitchen.
I’m passionate about working with good people.
Through my plays and fiction writing I challenge stigma and strive to create strong roles for women. My plays have been performed in the San Francisco Bay Area, New York, and Florida.
A UC Berkeley graduate, I believe in coffee.

In August 2025 I went to North Dakota for a two-week research and writing residency with the North Dakota Museum of Art. See where my other plays have been performed.
