About Me
Maggie Wilson is a playwright and marketing professional from California living in Brooklyn. Since 2018 she’s been freelancing with multiple nonprofits in New York as a marketing specialist, overseeing ticketing, events, copy, public relations and more.
Through her writing she challenges stigma and prides herself on creating strong roles for women. Her plays have been performed in the San Francisco Bay Area, New York City, and Florida.
A UC Berkeley graduate, she believes in coffee.
From August 2022-March 2023 I was a Resident Playwright with Playground SF. In that time I finished a draft of my Untitled Powerful Play.
In March 2023 I went to Florida for a weeklong residency with Clamour Theatre to work on my mother-daughter play, From the Bath.
